Once again I want to thank those of you that came out to our union membership meeting last Wednesday.  The agenda was obviously an important one and I appreciate your dedication.
           
It is important that you make time during the week to come in to the union office and pick up buttons for your teachers.  These bright yellow buttons read “LTUnity.”  We have ordered enough for every teacher to wear.
           
I believe these buttons will communicate to the administration that we are committed to getting a fair contract, one that meets ours and our family’s needs.  I encourage all teachers to wear them as often as possible.
           
The union office will be fully staffed everyday this week.  Once again, please come to the office to pick up these buttons and ensure that Lawrence teacher’s voices will be heard.
