The IAC has been seeking an accounting of the Health Insurance Trust Fund for fiscal years 05' 06' 07, and 08'. What we have received in response has been a run-off report that is unclear and frankly, impossible to understand. We have been told that this computer formatted report is the only one of it's kind available. As you can imagine, the inability for the IAC to get this information in a usable format has been frustrating and a detriment to the cooperative environment that the IAC would like to operate under. We have requested from the city a month-to-month report that clearly outlines the following:

City Contributions deposited to the trust
Employee/retiree contributions made to the trust
Payments/transfers made from the trust; to whom the payment is made; a description of payment (June claims, June stop-loss premium, June adminstrative fee, etc...)
Reserve balance statements of the fund
This information is needed in order for the Insurance Advisory Committee to know that financial state of the city's required health insurance trust fund.
