Resolved Issues
1. Health Insurance Both parties agree
to work together to do all we can to control Health Insurance costs.
Both parties will investigate feasibility of LTU/AFT Health Insurance
Audit.
2. DOE/EQA Visit Both parties agree
to work cooperatively together during EQA visit on March 1, 2, and
3 2005.
3. Police in Schools Lawrence Police
are currently in Lawrence Public Schools. Both parties agree to put
aside personnel differences and work together to make schools safer.
4. Human Resource Meetings Both parties
that regularly scheduled Human Resource/ Union meetings are essential
to a positive working relationship. Human Resource/Union meetings
will be regularly scheduled. Human Resource Department agrees to work
with Union to clear back up caseload and schedule meetings.
5. Rennie Forum Both parties l met with
Dr. Susan Johnson on, February 16 and April 6, 2005 Both parties agreed
to establish a co-chair for the Professional Development Committee.
6. Sick Banks Sick Bank established
to help Shelia Licciardi.
7. Heating Issues Administration agrees
to do all it can to resolve heating issues in schools. Currently,
extreme heating problems have been reported at Lawrence High, Breen,
Oliver, and Guilmette schools. Heating at LHS is worse.
8. Teachers without contracts (requested
list from HR has been received)
9. Personal Property (Guilmette, AJC,
Tarbox reimbursement of stolen and damaged property. Both parties
agree to work together to resolve this issue. Employees will receive
a memo from Human resources Department outlining procedures for reimbursement
of personal property )
10. Printing of Contract (contract has
been printed and distributed)
