TELL SURVEY

(TEACHER EDUCATOR AND LEARNING SURVEY)

The TELL Survey will be available on line from February 11 - March 7, 2008. The purpose of the survey is to gather information on the working conditions of teachers from pre k to grade 12. The latest edition of the AFT Massachusetts newspaper, The Advocate, has on page 3 a full page devoted to the survey. We are also sending a mailing to all those on the leadership mailing list. The Executive Board of AFT Massachusetts has endorsed our participation because the survey has the potential to provide information that will improve teachers' working conditions. Responses are anonymous.
Today we received via email a document which provides even more extensive information explaining the process to complete the survey and a letter Governor Patrick will send to educators.Two documents are enclosed. Disseminate as you see fit.
